In mid 2021 IRADA was contracted by Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid to design and conduct a training program for the farmers association in Anbar governorate, Iraq.
The purpose of the training was to build the capacity of the farmers association and enable them to sustain and develop the outcomes of the agricultural program implemented by Mercy Hands in different areas in Anbar governorates, around Ramadi and Heet.
After assessing the outcomes of Mercy Hands' program and the knowledge and capacity of the local farmers as well as the farmers association, our experts designed a customized training program.
In partnership with Mercy Hands,, our experts delivered the training in person to a total of 40 farmers who are members of the farmers association in Heet and Ramadi.
